Are you ready to learn to trade in a consistent, serious, and largely non-emotional manner? Ready to get off the usual lose-win-lose carousel on which most people spend their months and years? If so – consider joining the new program created by Dr Elder – his Trader Development Course.
This course is designed to take a regular trader who is making typical mistakes and isn’t happy with his or her results – and put them firmly in the direction of success and satisfaction. Your journey will begin in a small circle at a two-day Traders’ Retreat. You will continue to develop and find answers to your questions in Zoom meetings every two weeks for the next three months. You will close the circle in a personal consult with Dr. Elder.
Dr Elder – a full-time professional trader and the author of books from which the world learns to trade – has created a revolutionary structure for trader growth and development. It is based on his decades of experience and life-long love of teaching.
This course will go beyond what you’ve read in Dr Elder’s Trading for a Living. In that book he wrote that successful trading is based on three Ms – Mind, Method, and Money. Most people waste time jumping from one Method to another – which is actually the easiest and least important part of the triad. Money (risk management) is much more important but gets neglected by almost everyone, which is why so many people lose. Dr Elder will teach you his absolutely transparent and structured money management technique that he invented and which turned him from an up-and-down trader into a successful professional. Another key component of success is your Mind – your trading psychology. Who can teach it better than Dr Elder, an experienced psychiatrist.
And now there is the fourth M – Self-Management. It ties together your method, psychology, and risk control into one coherent whole. How to find trades, how to plan entries and exits, how to learn from your successes and mistakes, how to organize your trading day – these and other key aspects of self-management will be in focus in Trader Development course.
You’ll need to bring your attention, discipline, and openness to change. There can be no guarantee, but working in a small group, guided by Dr Elder will help you discover and follow a structure of good trading.
How Trader Development Course is organized

Once you confirm your spot, you’ll be given a reading assignment and some limited homework.

Free software. We encourage you to obtain and learn to use a program called TradeStation. Dr Elder uses it, and he created an addition for it called Elder-disk, with all his indicators. TradeStation is free if you open a $5,000 brokerage account with them. Elder-disk cost $500 but free for class members. You don’t have to use TradeStation, there are other good programs, but having the same program as Dr Elder and using his Elder-disk would be an advantage.

A very small group (approximately 8 persons) will meet for an intensive Traders’ Retreat for two full days on a weekend in New Hampshire, near Dr Elder’s home. You will learn the essential practical steps to trading success. We hope you'll find friends among your classmates (easy to do in a small group). To fully focus on trading, we discourage bringing spouses or guests.

A three-months Zoom follow-up for group members with Dr Elder. Meet online every two weeks, for an hour or longer. Bring up any trading questions or issues and receive answers and guidance. We also encourage group members to stay in touch with each other.

Have an in-person or Zoom meeting with Dr Elder – at any time convenient for you and him, within the six months after the Retreat.

DATES – Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17, 2026. Classes from 9 am to 5 pm.

INCLUDED – Friday and Saturday nights in a private hotel room. Breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Dinner on Saturday with Dr Elder, followed by after-dinner drinks at his home.

SPOUSES & GUESTS – not invited. This Retreat is strictly for trader education and networking, no distractions.

FOLLOW-UP – Zoom meetings for group members with Dr Elder, every other Tuesday at 6 pm for three months.

PERSONAL CONSULT with Dr Elder – up to one hour, make an appointment within six months of the Traders’ Retreat.

FEE – $3990 covers all of the above. Pay 1/2 to reserve your spot, balance one month prior to Traders’ Retreat.
